On January 13, 2023, with the assistance of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Federal Republic of Germany and the Kyrgyz diaspora in Berlin, a meeting was held with the Director of the Association of IT Companies KARPOU in Kyrgyzstan, Ms. Avigail Menashe. The meeting was attended by representatives of German companies and the Kyrgyz diaspora in Germany and Poland.

The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev greeted the participants of the meeting and noted the importance of interaction in the field of information technology between Kyrgyzstan and Germany. The Ambassador said that such meetings of IT specialists of the two countries could become a bridge for cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Germany in the IT field and could contribute to the further export of IT products from Kyrgyzstan to other countries. He also noted that the development of the IT sector in Kyrgyzstan creates jobs for citizens of Kyrgyzstan abroad without leaving the country.

During the meeting, Ms.Avigail Menashe made a detailed presentation on the activities of the Association of IT companies KARPOU in Kyrgyzstan, which includes 250 IT companies in Kyrgyzstan. A.Menashe informed about the purpose of her stay in Germany, which is to attract partners in Germany for joint projects and promote "kyrgyz tech" in Germany, exchange experience in educational programs, and also work as part of planning the organization in the future of the IT forum in Berlin. A similar IT forum was held by the above association in 2022 in the USA.

The meeting participants could exchange views and get answers to their questions on cooperation in the field of information technology. Similar meetings of Ms. A.Menashe with representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora took place in Munich, Bonn, Dortmund.
