On June 1, 2022, in Berlin, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Germany Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev took part in a meeting of new heads of diplomatic missions of foreign states with the President of the Bundestag of Germany, Ms. Bärbel Bas.

As part of this event, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev discussed with the head of the Bundestag of Germany, Ms. Bärbel Bas, the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Germany.

On June 2, 2022, in the German Bundestag, at the initiative of the Kyrgyz side, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev met with the chairman of the Social Democratic faction in the German Bundestag, Dr. Rolf Mützenich, during which issues and opportunities for strengthening Kyrgyz-German relations in political, trade and economic, financial-technical and inter-parliamentary spheres, as well as the exchange of visits.

There was also an exchange of views on the international situation and the development of regional cooperation in Central Asia. The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev and the leader of the Social Democrats in the German Bundestag, Dr. Rolf Mützenich, expressed mutual understanding and similarity of positions on many issues, which are based on common social democratic values ​​and guidelines.

Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev invited Dr. Rolf Mützenich to pay a visit to the Kyrgyz Republic.
