On May 2, 2023, in Potsdam, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Mr.O. Tekebaev met with the Vice Prime Minister, Minister of the Interior and Local Government of the federal state of Brandenburg Mr. Michael Shtubgen.

During the meeting, the possibilities of developing cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the Federal State of Brandenburg in various fields, including in the field of education, training of qualified personnel and employment were discussed.

Ambassador Mr. O.Ch.Tekebaev noted the importance of developing economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the Federal State of Brandenburg and offered German companies the opportunity to invest in such promising sectors as energy, tourism, light industry, agriculture and mining.

Mr. M.Shtubgen expressed interest in cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in the field of training and employment of qualified personnel from Kyrgyzstan in Brandenburg.
