On January 16, 2024, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Omurbek Tekebaev and the Head of the Europe Department of the German Bundestag Sibylla Koch.

The parties exchanged views on cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Germany, the situation in the Central Asian region and current international issues.

During the meeting, issues of interaction in the areas of interparliamentary, cultural, humanitarian and economic cooperation, as well as interaction within the framework of the European Union Strategy for Central Asia, were discussed.
