On April 18, 2019, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United States Bolot Otunbaev met with Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of South and Central Asia Affairs Alice Wells. Issues of developing bilateral Kyrgyz-U.S. cooperation, including plans for organizing joint meetings and activities in various areas, have been discussed during the meeting.
