Cultural event "Ene tili bolboso, aty atalbayt uluttun" was held  among citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in the USA

On February 19-20, 2023, Bakyt Amanbaev, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United States, paid a working visit to Philadelphia. During his visit, Ambassador Bakyt Amanbaev met with his compatriots from Pennsylvania and New York, spoke about the domestic and foreign policy of the state under the leadership of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, and answered questions from citizens.

On the same day, a flash mob on the theme "Ene tili bolboso, aty atalbayt uluttun" was held among the compatriots living in Pennsylvania and New York to teach the younger generation the Kyrgyz language, traditions, customs, history, music and national games. Ambassador Bakyt Amanbayev shared his thoughts on the importance of teaching Kyrgyz language, customs, traditions and history to the younger generation and how to implement them. He also presented gifts and textbooks, provided by the Embassy for teaching Kyrgyz language and culture, to students, who study Kyrgyz language at the Community Center of Turkic-speaking Peoples in Philadelphia and thanked leaders of the Kyrgyz diaspora.

At the same time, the Embassy consul provided consular services to citizens by exchanging expired passports and other citizens' documents.

It should be noted that the decision of UNESCO in 1999,  February 21 was approved as the International Mother Language Day. A decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic from January 21 to February 21, 2023 declared a "Month of the Kyrgyz language" in Kyrgyzstan.
