Ambassador B. Amanbaev met with the Executive Director of "Open World Leadership Center" Ms. Jane Sargus.

During the meeting, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic informed about the current internal political processes in Kyrgyzstan. He expressed his gratitude for the programs implemented by the Center for the purpose of familiarizing civil servants of the Kyrgyz Republic with the basics of public administration and strengthening democratic institutions. He noted the importance of activating inter-parliamentary relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the US Congress and expressed his opinion on the need to create a Caucus of Kyrgyzstan within the Congress.

The Head of the Center reported the importance of resuming inter-parliamentary relations between the countries. Also, she informed about the program of the Center for 2023 with the participation of state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic in a wide range of areas such as human rights, rule of law, agro-industrial trade, strengthening the role of communities and economic empowerement.

Further, the Kyrgyz side was introduced to the programs planned by the Center for the current year 2023.

In conclusion, B. Amanbaev called for the establishment of a direct working dialogue in order to exchange information and take into account the wishes of the Kyrgyz side when planning training courses and programs for representatives of state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic.
