On September 28, 2023, a round table discussion was held at the World Trade Center of Utah, bringing together representatives of Kyrgyz IT companies and official representatives of the Utah’s state government. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the USA.

The round table discussion was moderated by the Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Economic Development Office of the Utah Governor's Office Mr. Franz Kolb.

During the meeting, Mr. Franz Kolb addressed the representatives of the Kyrgyz companies and assured them of Utah's commitment to providing comprehensive support for Kyrgyz companies in strengthening trade and economic ties between Kyrgyzstan and Utah. He also encouraged them to reach out directly to his department with any questions.

In his speech Ambassador Baktybek Amanbaev thanked Mr. Franz Kolb, highlighting that such events not only enhance official partnerships between the Kyrgyz Republic and Utah but also foster strong collaborations between private organizations from both regions.

During the discussion Managing Director of the Global Business Services Division at the World Trade Center of Utah Mr. Dustin Dougherty provided insights into the World Trade Center's role and explained in detail how it supports local companies in expanding into international markets.

The meeting also featured representatives from companies in Utah, particularly those operating in the energy sector and other industries, who participated in the round table discussion and answered various questions posed by Kyrgyz company representatives.
