On March 10, 2020, in Ottawa, Canada on the initiative of the Embassy the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the USA and Canada Bolot Otunbaev met the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Canadian-Eurasian Business Association Gilles Breton.

At the meeting, Ambassador B. Otunbaev informed about the investment, export and tourism opportunities and projects of Kyrgyzstan, as well as about measures taken by the country's leadership to ensure the safe conduct of business in the country.

The parties discussed the prospects of trade and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the Canadian-Eurasian Business Association, primarily focused on developing partnerships between business circles of the Kyrgyz Republic and Canada. In this regard, Ambassador B.Otunbaev suggested to consider the creation of the Kyrgyz-Canadian Business Council.

The participants emphasized the importance of building up further cooperation and agreed to explore the possibilities of implementing joint activities and projects.
