On March 10, 2020, in Ottawa, Canada, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic  to the USA and Canada Bolot Otunbaev presented his copies of Credentials to the Chief of Protocol of Canada Stewart Wheeler.

The Chief of Protocol congratulated the Ambassador on his high appointment to a responsible post and wished success in the development of cooperation between the countries.

During the meeting, Ambassador B.Otunbaev stressed the importance of enhancing bilateral Kyrgyz-Canadian cooperation, including fields of education, health, agriculture, diversification of trade and economic relations, development of inter-parliamentary relations, as well as establishing dialogue and exchange visits between the leaders of the two states.

The parties emphasized the need to further strengthen bilateral relations and expressed readiness for further cooperation on a mutually beneficial basis.
