In September 3-7, 2021, with the assistance of the Embassy the Director of the Kyrgyz farm "Yagodka" S. Esenkanov met with the Director of the Institute "Sorghum and Organic Productions", Ph.D. Y.Bardin.

According to Y.Bardin's technology, in 2020 Ukraine set a world record for the yield of sorghum on dry land per hectare - 14 tons, and with irrigation - 20 tons of grain.

Within the framework of the meeting, S. Esenkanov was familiarized with the scientific achievements of the institute, the sowing scheme and new drought-resistant hybrid varieties of sorghum.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on the assistance of the Ukrainian side in the opening of the Sorghum Seed Center in Bishkek.
