On 24th of October, 2019, on the occasion of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Day of the diplomatic worker of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ukraine Zh. Sharipov met with students of the Kyiv Institute of International Relations and Law of Kyiv National University named after T. Shevchenko. The Institute is a forge of Ukrainian diplomats.

Ambassador Zh. Sharipov spoke about the formation of the Kyrgyz Republic and Kyrgyz diplomacy, the activities of the Embassy and Kyrgyz-Ukrainian relations.

The Embassy exhibited unique national products from felt, leather, head wears, musical instruments through which students were able to learn more about the cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz people, and they were also able to taste Kyrgyz cuisine.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Zh. Sharipov answered students' questions, wished them success in their studies and presented them with the works of Ch. Aitmatov translated into Ukrainian.
