On January 31, 2020, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Bulgaria, with a residence in Kyiv, met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria P. Doykov and the Director of the Directorate for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria during a working trip to Sofia G. Ganev.

During the bilateral conversation, the Parties discussed the issues on the agenda of bilateral and multilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Bulgaria: enhancing economic cooperation, conducting inter-MFA consultations, UN cooperation, expanding the legal framework of the two countries.

Following the meeting, the Parties expressed readiness for cooperation and outlined further steps to establish cooperation.
