On May 31, 2022, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Bulgaria with a residence in the city of Kyiv met with the Director of the Directorate of International Cooperation and Investment in the Tourism Sector of the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria G. Alipiyev.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation in the tourism industry and possible options for bilateral exchange of experience in developing tourism in countries.

The Kyrgyz Side provided detailed information on the country's tourism potential and expressed interest in active cooperation with Bulgaria to study its successful experience.

In turn, the Bulgarian Side assured of its readiness to receive the Kyrgyz delegation in Bulgaria for the exchange of experience and the corresponding invitation will be sent in the near future to the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

It should be noted that Bulgaria has a successful experience in the development of the tourism sector, which is the main budget-forming industry of the country.
