On September 14, 2021, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ukraine Zh. Sharipov held a meeting with the Chairman of the Association “League of Machine Builders and Employers of Ukraine
V. Sachenko, and members of this Association, which includes more than 240 Ukrainian enterprises.

During the meeting, Ambassador Zh. Sharipov provided information on investment and transit opportunities, liberal tax preferences and opportunities in Kyrgyzstan for foreign investors.

It was noted that the Kyrgyz Republic has the status of the General Scheme of Preferences, allowing Kyrgyzstan to import duty-free over 6,200 commodity items into the territory of the European Union, is also a part of the Eurasian Economic Union and has access to the market of 5 countries without customs duties.

In this regard, Zh. Sharipov urged to actively invest in the national economy of our country and open production enterprises together with Kyrgyz partners.

Ukrainian enterprises provided information on their production capabilities and expressed interest in setting up joint ventures in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
