The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine together with the Representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine, the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine on 8^th of June, 2021 held a Kyrgyz-Ukrainian business forum on the agricultural industry in Kyiv.

Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ukraine Zh. Sharipov in his welcoming speech provided information on the investment climate, the possibilities of the agricultural sector in Kyrgyzstan and called on Ukrainian companies to actively invest in the agricultural sector and open agro-industrial enterprises together with Kyrgyz partners.

The participants presented information and a presentation on the most promising projects in the agricultural sector of Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine, the launch of which can become a successful start of bilateral partnership.

Within the framework of the forum, B2B meetings with Ukrainian businessmen were organized.

In order to familiarize and study the Ukrainian experience, the Kyrgyz delegation visited the Institutes of Fisheries, Horticulture and Beekeeping of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.

In addition, the participants of the business forum took part in the 33rd International Agro-industrial Exhibition "Agro-2021".

Following the results of the business forum, contacts were established between the Kyrgyz and Ukrainian business spheres and agreements were reached on cooperation with scientific institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

As a result of the forum, protocols on cooperation between Kyrgyz companies and the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine were signed.
