On April 20, 2021, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Ukraine Zhusupbek Sharipov visited a specialized clinic "Heart Institute", which is engaged in diagnosing and eliminating pathologies of the cardiovascular system and held a meeting with the General Director of the clinic, Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences Boris Todurov.

During the meeting, B. Todurov conducted a familiarization tour of the clinic and spoke about the activities of the Center, as well as announced a planned visit to the Kyrgyz Republic for the purpose of conducting charitable operations.

Ambassador Zh. Sharipov noted that since 2018, with the assistance of the Embassy, a productive cooperation has been established between the National Center for Maternal and Child Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Scientific and Practical Center for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. the basis of which it would be possible to exchange experience between cardiologists of Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine.

The Heart Institute was opened in Kyiv in 2007. The clinic was built according to European standards and immediately received the status of one of the best cardiac surgery institutions in the country. The clinic treats cardiovascular diseases of any complexity in adults and children: aortic aneurysm, heart attack, coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, hypertension, congenital and acquired heart defects.
