The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted Resolution No. 583 dated 06/02/2021 "On Amending the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1236 dated December 9, 2020 (the text of the document is posted on the government website: https://www.kmu.gov.ua/npas/pro- vnesennya-zmin -do-postanovi kabinetu-ministriv-ukrayipi-vid-9 -grudnya-2020 -r-t20621).

This resolution expanded the list of documents, in the presence of which foreigners and stateless persons are allowed to cross the state border of Ukraine during the quarantine period.

In accordance with the changes, from 09.06.2021, the entry into Ukraine of foreigners and stateless persons is allowed if they have an insurance policy issued by an insurance company registered in Ukraine, or a foreign insurance company that has a representative office in Ukraine or a contractual relationship with an insurance company- a partner on the territory of Ukraine, which covers the costs associated with the treatment of COVID-19, observation, and is valid for the period of stay in Ukraine, as well as one of the following documents issued in English or with a translation into English:

- a negative test result for COVID-19 by the polymerase chain reaction method or a rapid test for the determination of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus antigen, carried out no more than 72 hours before crossing the state border, or

- a document confirming the receipt of a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 with vaccines included by WHO in the list of approved for use in emergency situations.

In the absence of the specified insurance policy (certificate, certificate) and / or a negative test result for COVID-19 (or a document confirming the receipt of a full course of vaccination), foreigners and stateless persons will be denied permission to cross the state border to enter Ukraine.

At the same time, the categories of foreigners and stateless persons to whom these requirements do not apply (namely, employees of foreign diplomatic missions and members of their families accredited in Ukraine) remain in force.
