On May 8, 2019, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine, representatives of the public association “Tosor Koomu” (Issyk-Kul region) and the Kyrgyz diaspora of the Dnipropetrovsk region took part in the event organized by secondary school # 52 in honor of the Hero of the Soviet Union Mukash Salakunov.

After the festive concert program organized by students of the school, the Embassy congratulated and presented gifts to the veteran of the city of Dnipro on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War. The materials about M. Salakunov were given to the school museum of the Great Patriotic War and to the library were presented the epos “Manas”, the works of Ch. Aitmatov and the collection “Kyrgyz folk tales”, which were published by the Embassy in the Ukrainian language.

Note: One of the streets of the city of Dnepr named after of the Hero of the Soviet Union M. Salakunov. Secondary school # 52 of the city of Dnepr is located on the street named after M.Salakunov.
