On January 17, 2023, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic hosted an award ceremony - the jubilee medal “75th Anniversary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic” to the Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kharkov, Mr. Vadim Eduardovich Tumanyan.

Counselor Esen Aksamaev, on behalf of the leadership of the Foreign Ministry, thanked Mr. Tumanyan for his active participation in the evacuation of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic from Ukraine in connection with the martial law.

In total, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine, under the coordination of the Consular Department and with the assistance of a number of diplomatic missions of the Kyrgyz Republic and international organizations, evacuated more than 800 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the event, topical issues related to the protection of the rights and interests of citizens under martial law and ways to solve them were discussed. A number of assistance actions are planned to support the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who are unable to leave the territory of Ukraine.
