On September 15, at the Presidential Palace in Chisinau, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Moldova (concurrently based in Kiev) I. Kadyrkulov presented credentials to Moldovan President Maya Sandu.

 

During their meeting, President Sandu highlighted the historical friendship and shared democratic progress between our nations, agreeing with Ambassador Kadyrkulov that the current state of Kyrgyz-Moldovan relations falls short of their potential.

Ambassador Kadyrkulov extended condolences for the passing of Moldova's first President, Mircea Snegur. Also, Ambassador suggested reinvigorating cooperation through high-level political dialogue and reestablishing the Kyrgyz-Moldovan intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation.
