On March 28, 2024, in honor of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the celebration of “Nooruz”, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kyiv held an event with the participation of the Kyrgyz diaspora.

As part of this, the book of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S.N. Zhaparov “Zhany Kyrgyzstandy kuruunun bagyty”, a collection of works by the Kyrgyz writer Ch. Aitmatov, published by the Embassy on his 95th birthday, as well as a limited anniversary postage stamp issued jointly with Ukrposhta in honor of 80th anniversary of the Ministry.

In addition, a video was shown about the diplomatic mission of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine, also dedicated to the anniversary of the foreign policy department.

Participants were informed about positive events in the Kyrgyz Republic, about the activity of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine.

In honor of the holy month of Ramadan, as well as to maintain Kyrgyz identity, an “ooz achar” with the preparation of Kyrgyz national dishes was also organized for compatriots.

It is noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, based on security reasons, continues to recommend leaving the territory of Ukraine or refraining from visiting it until the situation has completely stabilized.

As is known, at the direction of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S.N. Zhaparov, in March 2022, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine, with the coordination of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, successfully completed the evacuation measures of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic from Ukraine.
