On September 22, 2021, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the People's Republic of China K.Baktygulova held a meeting with the rector of the Beijing University of Foreign Languages Yang Dan.

At the beginning of the meeting, Ambassador K.Baktygulova informed about the internal political situation in Kyrgyzstan and the reforms carried out by the country's leadership, as well as about the upcoming elections of deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic on November 28, 2021.

The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of education, interuniversity cooperation, professional development of personnel, exchange of students and educational materials, as well as library science.

In honor of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ambassador K.Baktygulova gave a lecture for students of the Beijing University of Foreign Languages studying Kyrgyz and Russian about Kyrgyzstan and bilateral Kyrgyz-Chinese relations.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador K.Baktygulova also held a conversation with teachers and students of the university who are studying the Kyrgyz language.
