On 2 August 2021, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Austria Tolendy Makeev presented copies of his Credentials to Ambassador Enno Drofenik, Chief of the Protocol Department of the Federal Ministry for European and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria in Vienna.

E. Drofenik congratulated T. Makeev on the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Austria and expressed hope for joint active work in further strengthening relations between the two States.

In his turn, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan stressed the importance of expanding and deepening bilateral cooperation and expressed his readiness to contribute to the strengthening of Kyrgyz-Austrian relations.

The presentation of the Credentials of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Austria Tolendy Makeev to the President of Austria is expected in the first decade of September this year.

 

Makeev Tolendy Kartanbaevich was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Austria, Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, and other international organizations in Vienna by the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on June 18, 2021.
