Press release about the meeting of Ambassador T.Makeev with Director-General of UNIDO Li Yong

On September 28 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Austria Tolendy Makeev presented to the Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Li Yong the Credentials (accreditation note) on his appointment as the Resident Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the UNIDO in Vienna.

During the meeting, the Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic thanked the Director General for the support of Kyrgyzstan and its inclusion in the list of countries in which the Country Partnership Program (PSP) can be implemented. At the same time, he noted the importance for the Kyrgyz Republic of its adoption and further practical launch.

In his turn, Li Yong noted that UNIDO is ready to continue to support Kyrgyzstan in this matter. At the same time, he drew attention to the successful implementation of the PSP by a number of developing African and Arab countries.

The Resident-Representative T.Makeev expressed his readiness to make a personal contribution to strengthening practical cooperation and developing fruitful cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and UNIDO.
