On January 16, 2024, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Azerbaijan, K. Osmonaliev and the Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan Taleh Kazimov held constructive negotiations, during which they discussed several key aspects of cooperation.

During the meeting, the Kyrgyz side expressed interest in exchanging experiences between the main banks of the two countries with the aim of implementing advanced practices and technological solutions, as well as in the field of digitization, to create a sustainable banking ecosystem.

In addition, successful infrastructure projects supported by the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan and their contribution to the country's development were discussed. The parties emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences and implementing advanced practices for the joint development of banking systems.

At the end of the meeting, they expressed their intention to further strengthen cooperation in various aspects of the banking sector.
