On January 17, 2024, in Baku, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Azerbaijan Kairat Osmonaliev met with the Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Emin Amrullaev.

 

During the meeting, issues of bilateral Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani cooperation in the field of education were discussed. The topics of exchange of visits at the level of the leadership of the ministries of science and education of the two countries, establishment of connections between higher educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan, the possibility of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic receiving higher education in the Azerbaijan Republic on a preferential basis and continuing the practice of exchanging visits with secondary school students were touched upon. Separately, issues of implementing projects aimed at strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries were discussed.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the interlocutors expressed a common intention to develop and deepen interaction between the two countries in the field of education.
