  • On February 1, 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka Askar Beshimov presented his Credentials to the President of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe. During the conversation, topical issues of further development of traditionally friendly Kyrgyz- Sri Lanka relations were discussed. President of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe welcomed Ambassador Askar Beshimov and wished him good luck and fruitful work to strengthen friendly relations between Sri Lanka and the Kyrgyz Republic. Ambassador Askar Beshimov conveyed greetings and good wishes from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov and expressed his readiness to make every effort to strengthen Kyrgyz-Sri Lanka bilateral relations.
