On September 13, 2021, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the State of Kuwait Azamat Karagulov met with the Director of the Legal affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, Mr. Ghanem Sakr Al-Ghanem.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the achieved level of formation of the legal framework between the Kyrgyz Republic and the State of Kuwait, which includes 16 intergovernmental agreements and treaties. At the same time, they agreed on the need to continue work on expanding and preparing bilateral documents under consideration by the parties.

During the meeting, the parties got acquainted with the procedures for the entry into force of the signed documents, in accordance with the laws of the two countries. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to hold regular consultations on the inventory of the legal framework between the Kyrgyz Republic and Kuwait.

Ambassador A. Karagulov thanked the interlocutor and confirmed his readiness to work together to create the necessary legal framework, which will create favorable conditions for political, investment, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
