In Doha, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the State of Qatar, in partnership with the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs of the State of Qatar, organized a legal seminar "On recent changes in the labor legislation of the State of Qatar" for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Mohamed Hassan Al-Obaidli, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs of the State of Qatar and Nuran Niyazaliyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic made a welcoming speech at the opening of the seminar. The Ambassador noted that the main objective of the seminar is to protect the rights and interests of compatriots working in the State of Qatar, as well as to raise the level of their legal awareness and promote their understanding of the norms of labor legislation of the State of Qatar.

Mohamed Hassan Al-Obaidli, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs of the State of Qatar hold a presentation in which he described in detail the latest changes in the labor legislation of the State of Qatar, as well as the norms of the legislation regulating the duration of working time, remuneration of work, procedure of passing the probation period and dismissals, procedures of conclusion of employment contract, etc. He recommended citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic to pay special attention to the necessity of careful study and conclusion of the employment contract with the employer before leaving Kyrgyzstan not relying only on the "Job offer".

Participants of the seminar received answers to questions related to their work in the State of Qatar and useful information on their rights according to current law.
