On December 8, 2019, in Doha, by the initiative of the Kyrgyz side, Chyngyz Eshimbekov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the State of Qatar met with Sheikh Faleh bin Nasser Al Thani, Undersecretary Assistant of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment of the State of Qatar.

The parties discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture, as well as the participation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the International Exhibition "AGRITEC-2020". Ambassador Chyngyz Eshimbekov informed about the agricultural potential of Kyrgyzstan and noted the prospects of supplying domestic products to the Qatari market. Undersecretary Assistant Sheikh Faleh bin Nasser Al-Thani expressed readiness to provide the necessary assistance to representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic in the upcoming exhibition.

It has been agreed on mutual coordination in the issues discussed and organizing a number of visits at various levels to determine the priority areas of joint work.
