The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Italy carried out visits to places of compact residence of citizens of Kyrgyzstan in Italy in order to ensure the implementation of the constitutional rights of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic living in Italy to participate in the electoral process in the upcoming early elections of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, which will be held on January 10, 2021.

 

Particularly, a trip to Bologna was made to serve citizens on consular issues, receive documents for consular registration and collection of biometric data between December 12 and 13, 2020. During the visit to Bologna, information and explanatory work was carried out on the topic of participation of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic living in Italy in the early elections of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

 

In the period of December 17-18, 2020, the Consul of the Embassy visited the southern region of Italy - Campania, where he held meetings with the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic living in the cities of Naples and Caserta, provided various consular services to more than 50 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, and also provided the necessary information on the possibility of citizens' participation at the early elections of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In the period of 19-20 December 2020, a trip was made to the city of Cagliari on the island of Sardinia to meet with the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and provide consular services - consular registration and collection of biometric data. During the visit to the city of Cagliari, about 70 people were served on various issues of documentation, consultations were provided and a large number of applications were accepted for registration with subsequent submission of biometric data.

 

Taking this opportunity, the Embassy expresses gratitude to all citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic living in the cities of Naples, Cagliari, Bologna, Milan, Modena and Venice for their active work during the Consul's visits.
