Dear compatriots living in Italy,
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S.N. Zhaparov, two days on May 1-2, 2021 in Kyrgyzstan were declared days of national mourning in memory of the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who became victims of the armed conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border of the Batken region of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In this regard, state flags were flown at half mast in Kyrgyzstan and in all foreign institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic abroad.
As a sign of mourning for those killed in the building of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Italy, state flags were also lowered to half mast and cultural and festive events were canceled, as well as a book of condolences was opened for all diplomatic missions of foreign states and international organizations accredited in Italy.
Considering the current epidemiological situation with the COVID-19 pandemic in the host country, messages of condolence will be accepted via e-mail, as is the practice among the diplomatic course in Rome.
