On December 8, 2021 Mr. Aibek Artykbaev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, met with compatriots, living in Cairo, as part of his visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister A.Artykbaev got acquainted with difficulties that Kyrgyz citizens face in Egypt and discussed the ways to solve them.

The Deputy Minister noted that in the end of the First political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Arab Republic of Egypt agreements were reached on a number of issues, including further assistance of the Egyptian side in consular and legal issues of Kyrgyz citizens and the development of the legal basis of bilateral relations in various fields.

He also informed that in honour of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and Arab Republic Egypt it is planned to hold Days of Culture and various events on the territory of the two countries in 2022.
