September 28, 2019 at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with the participation of compatriots living in Saudi Arabia, was held an evening on the occasion of the celebration of the Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic and the 30th anniversary of giving the Kyrgyz language status of the state language.

In a welcoming address on behalf of the Embassy, ​​the Minister –Counselor T. Turganbaev congratulated the guests of the event on the Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic and the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Law “On the State Language”. He spoke about Kyrgyz-Saudi relations, based on trust, equality and mutual respect between the two countries, as well as measures taken by the Embassy to develop bilateral cooperation. There was an exchange of views on the problems and importance of the development of the Kyrgyz language.

Consul J. Kadyrbaev spoke about the work of the Embassy to protect the interests and rights of Kyrgyz citizens living in Saudi Arabia.

The compatriots were also informed about the anniversary events in the country in honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of T. Usubaliev, the 125th anniversary of S. Karalaev and the 80th anniversary of B. Sydykov.
