On October 26, 2023, in the Gyeonggido Province of the Republic of Korea, a ceremony was held to officially transfer ambulances from the Gyeonggi Provincial Fire Department to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic.

This project between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Korea is carried out within the framework of the official development program of the Republic of Korea.

These projects include grant assistance for the provision of ambulances and fire trucks. The specified ambulances for the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic will arrive in Kyrgyzstan at the beginning of 2023.

Representatives of the Gyeonggido Provincial Administration of the Republic of Korea also took part in the ceremony.

As a result of the agreements reached between the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan and the National Fire Agency of the Republic of Korea, in 2022, from the Gyeonggido  Provincial Fire Service Office, Kyrgyzstan received 4 ambulances with special equipment for medical staff of Kyrgyzstan.

The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Korea plans to continue further cooperation with the Fire Department of Gyeonggido Province of the Republic of Korea.
