On November 11, 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Korea, Aida Ismailova, held a meeting with the Vice President of Sungkonghoe University, Jin Yongjong.

During the meeting, A.Ismailova informed that today about 900 students from Kyrgyzstan study in the Republic of Korea and that this indicator is growing every year. In this context, she noted the importance of establishing cooperation between Korean and Kyrgyz universities and suggested studying the issue of signing a memorandum of cooperation between universities.

Jin Yongjong, in turn, informed that Sungkonghoe University specializes in teaching digital marketing. At the same time, he noted that students from Kyrgyzstan also study at the university and expressed interest in increasing their number and cooperation with Kyrgyz educational institutions.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen further cooperation in the field of education.
