On October 7, 2020, in Seoul, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Korea Dinara Kemelova met with the President of the Export-Import Bank of Korea, Mr. Bang Moon Kyu.

The parties discussed issues in the fight against coronavirus and implementation of social and infrastructure projects in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as easing the burden of external debt.

D.Kemelova informed on the difficulties of lack of medical equipment, medical personnel and equipped medical clinics. In this regard, the promotion of health projects is a priority today. Also noted the interest of the Kyrgyz side in the implementation of the projects on access to clean water.

The President of the Eximbank of Korea said that he had paid several visits to Kyrgyzstan and was aware of the situation in the healthcare sector.

The sides noted the importance of promoting negotiations at the expert levels of the two countries by videoconference.
