Consular registration

Consular registration is carried out in order to organize effective consular services for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, to protect their rights and legally protected interests outside the Kyrgyz Republic.

Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who travel outside the Kyrgyz Republic for a period of more than three months, within fifteen days from the date of arrival in the host state are registered (become a consular account) in the diplomatic mission or consular office of the Kyrgyz Republic in the host state.

Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who leave for permanent residence outside the Kyrgyz Republic must be removed from the registration at the place of residence in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Consular officer of the diplomatic mission or consular office of the Kyrgyz Republic (hereinafter-the Consul) registers and puts on consular registration in its consular district of the following citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic:

- those who have left for permanent residence outside the Kyrgyz Republic;

- those who have left the Kyrgyz Republic for the purpose of study, work and other purposes for a period of more than three months;

- minor children adopted by foreign citizens and stateless persons;

- minor children born outside the Kyrgyz Republic and who are citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, who have duly issued a birth certificate at the diplomatic mission or consular office of the Kyrgyz Republic;

- those who have changed their place of residence outside the Kyrgyz Republic.

In order to apply for consular registration of minor citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, a parent or guardian (Trustee) must complete an application form.

 

The procedure for consular registration of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who have left for permanent residence and are outside the Kyrgyz Republic, and their removal from the registration at the previous place of residence

Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who have left for permanent residence and are outside the Kyrgyz Republic, when applying to the diplomatic mission or consular office of the Kyrgyz Republic in the country of residence for permanent consular registration are:

a) completed registration card of the established form;

b) the General civil passport of the citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic, the address sheet of disposal with the stamp "Removed from registration" and the document representing the right of permanent residence in the host state, with their photocopies;

c) two 3x4 photos.

If a citizen has not been removed from the registration at the place of residence in the Kyrgyz Republic, the following documents are submitted when applying to the diplomatic mission or consular office of the Kyrgyz Republic in the country of residence for permanent consular registration:

a) application for deregistration at the place of residence in the Kyrgyz Republic, indicating the exact address of residence in the Kyrgyz Republic (to be filled separately for each family member who has reached the age of 16). If you change your name, you must attach the relevant documents with a certified translation into the state or official languages;

b) completed registration form in duplicate in the prescribed form;

c) passport of the citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic (if any) with the application of a photocopy;

d) two 3x4 photos.

 

The procedure for consular registration of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, temporarily residing abroad

Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who have left the Kyrgyz Republic for a certain period of time are considered to be temporarily staying abroad.

This category includes citizens who are studying in educational institutions of the host country, on treatment, citizens engaged in employment under an employment contract (contract) or business, as well as visiting relatives or friends.

Consular registration of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who are temporarily outside the Kyrgyz Republic for a period of more than three months, but not for the purpose of permanent residence, is carried out by the diplomatic mission or consular office without deregistration at the place of residence.

When applying for consular registration on a temporary basis, citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic represent:

a) completed registration card in two copies of the prescribed form;

b) passport of the citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic with the permission of the foreign state for stay in its territory (can be put down/pasted in the General civil passport), with Appendix of their photocopies;

C)two 3x4 photos.

Applications from citizens to remove them from the registration at the place of residence and request the address sheets of disposal is not required.

The Consul carries out the temporary registration.
