On June 3, 2022, at the Atakule cinema in Ankara was held a private screening of the film Manastyn uulu Semetey, directed and produced by Omurzak Tolobekov, based on the work of the famous playwright Zhalil Sadikov.

Representatives of the Turkish leadership, famous poets, writers, scientists, artists, Turkish filmmakers, producers, film distributors and such well-known companies as Netflix, TRT and TRT Sinema took part in the private screening of the film in Ankara.

After the end of the screening of the film, an exchange of views took place, Senior Advisor to the President of Türkiye Yalçin Topçu said: «The Epic of Manas» is a great epic of the Kyrgyz people, which has no equal in the world. This is our common spiritual value, the pride of the Turkic peoples. The creation of feature films based on this great work, which is the source of our spiritual wealth, is the most important issue at the present time». In addition, Turkish Member of Parliament, head of the Kyrgyz-Turkish friendship group Sabri Ozturk and other writers and scientists shared their opinions and wished the director success, noting that the film reflects history and traditions.

Specialists in the field of cinematography expressed their intention to discuss their ideas and specific proposals with the author of the film in a personal meeting. The presentation of the film was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Türkiye Kubanychbek Omuraliev and Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) Sultan Raev.
