On May 24, 2019, there was held the meeting of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliev with Head of the Keçiören Municipality of Ankara Turgut Altynok.

The parties noticed the necessity of further development of cooperation in various areas between Keçiören Municipality and Lenin District of Bishkek city and exchange of visits at the leadership level of these local authorities.

K.Omuraliev expressed his gratitude for the names of Ch.Aitmatov and Kyrgyzstan-Manas that were previously assigned for two parks in the territory of the Keçiören municipality. T.Altynok informed that Ch.Aytmatov and Kyrgyzstan-Manas parks are underway of landscaping at the present time.

K.Omuraliev and T.Altynok agreed to establish a bust of Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov in the same park in honor of the birth of Chingiz Aitmatov in December 2019 and a monument of Manas in the square in front of the Municipality of Keçiören, as well as the participation of a group from Kyrgyzstan in the Culture Festival, held annually by the Keçiören municipality and allocation of space in Keçiören for Kyrgyz national cuisine.
