On June 5, 2024, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkiye Ruslan Kazakbaev met with the Governor of Konya Province Vahdettin Ozkan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of developing bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation.

Ambassador R. Kazakbaev informed about current projects in Kyrgyzstan, including work in the field of renewable energy, agriculture and transport. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation in the fields of health and education.

During the meeting, the Kyrgyz side expressed a request for maximum support for the stay of citizens of Kyrgyzstan in Konya province, especially students, to which Governor V. Ozkan assured that all possible support would be provided.

At the end of the conversation, in the context of the practical implementation of sister-city relations, the Ambassador invited Governor V. Ozkan to visit Kyrgyzstan on a working visit.
