On November 9, 2022, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Hungary, H.E. Mr. Talantbek Kushchubekov, met with the Deputy Secretary of State for Trainings, Scholarship Programmes and Science Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of Hungary, H.E. Mr. Miklós Lengyel.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the level of bilateral cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Hungary in the field of education, and also discussed promising areas for future cooperation. During the meeting, Ambassador T. Kushchubekov indicated that effective interaction in the field of education is one of the key factors in the development of bilateral cooperation, and in this regard, he emphasized the annual participation of Kyrgyz students in the Stipendium Hungaricum program. Additionally, the Ambassador briefly dwelled on the current issues of the bilateral agenda in the field of education and expressed the interest of the Kyrgyz side in active joint work in this direction.

In turn, H.E. Mr. M. Lengyel expressed his readiness to provide comprehensive assistance in the implementation of joint projects and activities aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of education.

The parties agreed to continue joint work aimed at deepening cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary in the field of education.
