On May 14, 2019, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in Belgium Mr. Muktar Djumaliev and the deputies of the Kyrgyz Parliament Sadyk Sher-Niyaz and Kanybek Imanaliev met with the Kyrgyz compatriots residing in France.

During the meeting M.Djumaliev informed the Kyrgyz compatriots about the work being carried out by the Government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic aimed to protect the rights of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic abroad, as well as the priority areas of development of the country and state reforms, in particular, Ambassador provided information about the decision of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic to open the diplomatic office of the Kyrgyz Republic in Paris.

Particular attention was paid to the need for the Kyrgyz diaspora in France to closely cooperate with the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Brussels in conducting joint cultural and humanitarian activities in the cities of France.

On the part of the diaspora, compatriots expressed their wish on the working process with a new consul of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Brussels, consisting in organization of the quarterly visiting - consular days - in Paris.
