On 13 May 2023 the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Belgium hosted an event to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic. The celebration was attended by representatives of the Kyrgyz diasporas from Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Belgium, A.Erkin, addressed the event and highlighted the most important milestones in the construction of an independent Kyrgyzstan.

The Embassy also organized a screening of the video «30 years of the Constitution, the history of its adoption and the path of development of the constitutional order in Kyrgyzstan».

In addition, the Embassy organized a presentation of the national yurt purchased and brought to Brussels at the initiative of the diaspora, and highlighted the merits of compatriots in promoting cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan.

The event concluded with a tour of the Ch. Aitmatov Museum as part of the celebration of the 95th anniversary of the great writer, the first Ambassador of independent Kyrgyzstan to the Benelux countries.
