As part of the visit, General Lira Sydykova met with the mayor of Iznik Kagan Mehmet Usta and the organizer of the World Nomad Games Erhan Sualp, and also visited the places of the opening ceremony and the sports competition.

At the meeting of the Consul General L. Sydykova with the mayor of Iznik Kagan Mehmet Usta, issues of preparation for the international event were discussed, in particular, in order to successfully hold the games and the full participation of the guests of the event, the routes and schemes of the competition games were discussed, as well as the program of the event and living conditions for athletes. In addition, the parties discussed the issue of reconstruction and expansion of the territory of the Kyrgyz mausoleum.

After meeting with the mayor, Consul General L. Sydykova met with the organizer of the World Nomad Games, Erhan Sualp, where she got acquainted with the preparation process, the program and scenario of the opening ceremony, as well as the vision of the Turkish side on the format and conduct of the games. Consul General L. Sydykova regretted the successful holding of the Games by the Turkish side and expressed hope that the upcoming World Nomad Games would strengthen the friendship of the Turkic-speaking countries and peoples of the whole world, as well as make a significant contribution to the development of ethnosport and culture, traditions of nomadic peoples.

Further, Consul General L. Sydykova visited the venue of the WNG and sports competitions, where she got acquainted with the living conditions for athletes and the games. Together, I also got acquainted with the process of reconstruction of the mausoleum "Kyrgyz".

Following the talks, the parties exchanged contact details and outlined coordinated steps to ensure the participation of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.

For reference: The 4th World Nomad Games will be held in Iznik from September 27 to October 2, 2022. The event is planned to be attended by 7 Presidents, 3 thousand athletes from 102 countries and about 500 thousand people.
