On June 15, 2019, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the USA took part in the annual Chinatown Community Festival, held under the auspices of the Washington, DC, Mayor’s office.

The Embassy staff presented to the guests and participants of the festival information about the tourism potential, investment and export opportunities, as well as the culture and traditions of Kyrgyzstan, which was accompanied by a specially designed stand with handouts.

In addition, as part of the work to popularize the Kyrgyz state language, participants of the event have been acquainted with the books and materials in Kyrgyz language.

The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan was the only Embassy participant from the Сentral Asian region, and therefore the presentation about Kyrgyzstan aroused particular interest among a large number of the event participants.
