On September 21, during his working trip to New York City, USA, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov met with representatives of major American financial and investment companies.

The meeting with the Head of State was attended by the leaders of leading companies in the field of financial services, consulting, investment management, and innovative financial solutions.

Specifically, the companies present included 'Oppenheimer' (with over 50 years of experience and assets under management totaling 37 billion US dollars), 'Fidelity Investments' (with a brokerage turnover of 25.2 billion US dollars in 2022), 'Mirae Global Asset Investments' (with total client assets exceeding 550 billion US dollars as of December 2020), 'Delphos International' (an international consulting company that has attracted over 20 billion US dollars in capital at competitive rates for its clients' operations in more than 80 countries), among others.

During the discussions, the Head of State expressed hope that today's meeting would mark the beginning of closer cooperation between the parties. Considering that the attending companies have a unique track record of success in their respective fields, significant investment opportunities, and substantial potential for investment.

The President welcomed the interest of the attending companies in exploring the investment and economic opportunities in Kyrgyzstan.

As emphasized by Sadyr Zhaparov, the main goal of this event is to inform about Kyrgyzstan's significant investment potential, extensive investment opportunities, and the current priority investment projects being implemented in the country.

The Head of State also highlighted the efforts undertaken by the Kyrgyz side to simplify regulations and create all the necessary conditions for a comfortable business environment in the country. The state approaches this matter comprehensively and systematically, setting the formation of an updated favorable investment climate as a strategic goal.

The President particularly drew the attention of those present to Kyrgyzstan's significant natural resources, large reserves of energy resources and minerals, as well as its qualified workforce.

In this context, a presentation was given, detailing the aspects of mutually beneficial cooperation with American partners in key areas such as green economy, hydroenergy, IT technologies, employment, and education.

The leaders of American companies expressed interest in potential areas of collaboration and asked questions about possible investments in the country.

In turn, President Sadyr Zhaparov invited them to participate in joint projects and guaranteed the full security of their investments.
