From July 20 to July 26, 2020, the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United States and Canada were received 571 appeals from citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.

· Carried out consular actions - 32;

· Provided answers to emails - 186;

· Phone calls received - 353.

The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic reminds citizens of Kyrgyzstan residing in the United States and Canada about the need to have the consular register of the Embassy. The main purpose of consular registration is to form a list of citizens of Kyrgyzstan in the United States and Canada in order to comply with their constitutional rights (participation in elections), protect the rights and interests in the host country, as well as the possibility of obtaining consular services at the Embassy.

It should be noted that on the basis of consular registration data and biometric data submission, voter lists will be compiled for voting in the elections of  members of the parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic, which will be held on October 4, 2020.
