On November 16-17, 2019, the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the USA and Canada together with the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic held consular service for Kyrgyzstan citizens in Montreal.

During the consular trip the Embassy performed more than 50 consular services, including accepting applications for the exchange/issuance of ordinary passports, issuing birth certificates, registering at the Embassy’s consular database, ​​providing notarial services, and collecting biometric data.

At the same time, employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic held consultations for about 100 citizens of Kyrgyzstan on a wide range of consular issues. Compatriots living in Canada were also informed about the upcoming parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan in 2020, as well as about the policy pursued by the country's leadership aimed at protecting the rights and interests of Kyrgyz citizens living abroad.

For its part, the Embassy plans to hold regular visiting sessions in Canada next year, and therefore recommends subscribing to the Embassy pages on social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and monitoring information on the activities of the diplomatic mission of Kyrgyzstan in the United States and Canada.
